Foundry Release Nuke 12
Highlights of Nuke 12.0 include:
- Impaint & Edge Extend – Introducing our new nodes Edge Extend and Inpaint! These GPU accelerated nodes provide faster and more intuitive workflows for common tasks, with fine detail controls and contextual paint strokes.
- Cara VR Node Integration – We’re bringing 14 of Cara VR’s nodes into NukeX, giving artists access to tools for VR and stereo workflows. These new GPU accelerated nodes will also help enhance and improve traditional 2D workflows.
- GridWarpTracker – Our NukeX GridWarpTracker node helps create match moves, tracker warps and morphs, as well as allowing you to warp across custom defined grid shapes and use Smart Vectors to drive the grids.
- Nuke Studio Playback Performance – A rebuilt playback engine offers much more stable playback across the timeline-based tools in the Nuke family, optimized for the heavy I/O demands of color managed workflows with multichannel EXRs, especially at higher resolutions and frame rates.
